Capitole D may have taken Hip-Hop further than any artist from his hometown of Red Deer, Alberta. Now that may not seem like a major feat, but when you tally up a now largely saturated rap scene, and that fact that Capitole D has taken his music overseas, toured below the border and has seen viral success online, you'd have to respect his hustle.
One third of the iconic rap-group 'Alberta Murderaz', Capitole D has propelled himself and his group to some major stages, locally and abroad. Performing well over 100 times, Dallas has a natural tendency to grab any microphone and leave the crowd stunned.
His debut release 'Capitole D Collabs' features records with some of the underground's biggest names, including Block McCloud, Celph Titled, Esoteric, Wrekonize, Madchild, Snak the Ripper and the rising Canadian rap-star Merkules.
Recently Capitole D was nominated for his first YYC Music Award, the same year as he moved to the big city for his collab record 'Brain feat. Travis Omen'.
